Moving Text

An independent text can be moved around anywhere within a drawing by first selecting the text and then dragging the text element to the desired location.

Formatting Text

Once added to the drawing, an independent text or the text associated with a specific shape, can be formatted by first selecting the shape or the independent text element and then clicking the corresponding toolbar button, such as Font, Font Size, Color, Bold, etc. or by selecting Format > Text from the context menu of the selected shape or text element.

Rotating Text

Independent text elements can be rotated by first selecting the text and then dragging the green circular shaped handle, placed right above the text element, and rotating it around the center point within the text element.

To rotate the text associated with a shape, select Shape > Rotate Text from the context menu of the shape. This option rotates the text within the shape by 90 degrees in the counter clockwise direction, each time the menu option is selected.
