- Visio has three main components, Stencils, The Drawing Page and Connectors. You can create all Visio Diagrams using these three components.
- You can create different kinds of drawings using Visio. Some of these include Block Diagrams, Flow Charts, UML Diagrams etc.
- Stencils are a collection of shapes. Each Type of Drawing comes with one or more stencils of its own which is opened in the left pane whenever the corresponding drawing is being created in the Drawing Page.
