Adding Visio 2003 Diagrams to Microsoft Word Documents

In order to add a drawing to a Microsoft Word document, open the Visio document, and click the Copy Drawing toolbar button. This will place the Visio drawing as an object on the clipboard.

Open the Word document into which the Visio diagram needs to be inserted, in MS Word. Place the cursor at the location where you want to place the drawing and either press Control+V or click "Paste" button on the Microsoft Word toolbar. The Visio diagram will now be placed into the Word document as if it were a part of the document.

The Word document can now be saved, printed, and/or distributed via eMail or other means to other users.
