Where to Start

This introductory section of chapter 3 will teach you how to start once you have gathered and organized your 'success' list.

Start at the very beginning and begin working your way towards the end. If that sounds easy, in reality and actual practice, it is quite often more difficult than what people are initially led to believe. Hopefully, the list has been sorted out and organized. Starting out with easier goals serves a variety of purposes, not the least of which is growing accustomed to being successful.

Once again, the list that has been made is a very important part of how you will achieve this and lining up your priorities and your goals will significantly impact how successful you are. If you put getting your dream car on the first page of things to do and getting your driver’s license back on page ten, you are not being realistic or wise in your choices.

When your priorities are in order it will be easy to start achieving what you set out to do. While the actual accomplishments may have a minimal impact on your life at first, do not fret. The overall effect, like success itself, is cumulative. When people begin reaching goals immediately, the psychological effects alone are well worth noting, the physical and actual benefits will also be self-evident and even the smallest of accomplishments will have increased rewards.
