Get Going

Here, you will know about the power of positive thinking and how you can reach your goals despite everyone else saying that you cannot do it or you can do it, easily enough. It all depends on the way that you look at things, and a positive perspective always helps.

The truth will set you free but first it will make you miserable. The truth is that nobody else really cares if you succeed or not. The truth is that a lot of people will sell you on the idea that positive thought and wishing things to happen will get you where you want to be.

There are many people who have become very successful selling pipe dreams and fantasies. Anyone who is foolish enough to expect something for nothing is going to get back exactly what they put into it. If you sit back on your tail end and wait for things to happen, you are just going to end up with a sore rear. Likewise, keeping your nose to the grindstone constantly working for others will probably only give you a sore nose and little more to show for all of your efforts and even your successes.

Avoid anyone who tells you how easy it is to be successful and how you can have something for nothing. While there are a great number of programs that actually do help people on a regular basis, there are many others that do not help anyone except the person selling the information or the program. The truth of the matter is that everyone will have to dig deep down within themselves and find their own motivation if they want to succeed.

It may be all well and good to practice positive reaffirmation of your goals as they are achieved and even before you reach some of your goals. In fact, all of the research that is available says that this is a positive means of reinforcing your ideas, your goals and will help you to make things happen successfully. The effects of positive affirmation have been tested and are well-noted among people who are successful and even among those who are not.

So what is the big difference here? Why are some of them more successful than others and how come so many rarely have any personal successes at all? How is it that different people using the same techniques can have such resoundingly different results?

The results can best be viewed in two separate and very distinct categories. First are the people who see what they want, figure out how to get it and then do what they have to do to make it a reality and get what they want and where they want to be. The second group of people sees the same basis but take it to a different conclusion.

Do not dare to actually doubt these gurus of success and their programs. Such attacks are often likened to attacking fervent religious believers at the very core of their belief system. These people will tell you over and over again how perfect their programs are and if there is anything wrong at all or anything that is not working, it is going to be your fault and not their programs.

Fortunately, the vast majority of them are still willing to help you. They have additional programs to correct your misinterpretations and preconceived notions and get you back on the right track to success riding comfortably on the bandwagon. All you have to do is pay more money for more materials and then just sit back and watch the success pour out over you like a gift from above.

One point that is frequently overlooked, avoided or conveniently forgotten is that when everybody jumps on to the bandwagon, there is nobody left to push it. With no action, there can never be any reaction. Many people are falsely led to believe that there is some divine intervention that will make everyone a success and leave nobody lacking in any manner. Nothing could be further from the truth.

For anyone who truly subscribes to these views, and there really are a lot of people who do, I challenge them to take a little experiment. They will cry that it is unfair because the concept or the principle is different, but it is not. Have them agree to sit somewhere and think about being somewhere else, believing that they are somewhere else or just having faith enough to believe that they deserve to be somewhere else.

When it fails, as it always does, just simply inform them that it is their fault because they are not thinking about it properly, they do not have faith enough or that their minds are still stuck in “the old way” of doing things. While it may seem preposterous to most reasonably intelligent people, there are many people making a living from many others who actually believe that this is a viable means of becoming successful.

While it may be a bit crude, there is an old adage about wishing in one hand. That is the sad truth of the matter and more likely the only thing you will ever fill your coffers with if you truly think you will ever be successful without getting up and making it happen of your own free will and with your actions.

Thinking about being successful, dreaming about being better off, simply having faith that you will be successful or actually believing like many people that you deserve to be successful, will never lead anyone to any success for themselves. If you are not willing to work and make things happen than do not be surprised or bitter when nothing happens. The truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable.
