Failure: Cause and Effect
Now that you know how to prepare for setbacks, you will learn the cause and effect of failure and how to turn it into something that will have a positive impact in realizing your goals.
"It is not the critic who counts or how the strong man stumbled and fell or where the doer of the deed could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by sweat and dust and blood. And IF he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly so that he will never be among those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat."
Teddy Roosevelt
Quite often a failure is actually very difficult to recognize. While it may seem improbable, it is actually a very common occurrence. Many people are all too willing to pass it off as a delay or a restructuring of plans. The truth of the matter is that any time you have failed to attain one of your goals according to your plans and your ideas, than you have failed.
How you deal with these failures is up to you. You can blame everybody and their brother but nothing will change the fact that you are the one who failed. When somebody wants something they can always find a reason and a means to justify it. When people do not want something or do not want to do something, they can likewise, always find an excuse not to do it.
It does not matter where you failed or in what stage of your road to success you were in when it happened. What does matter is how you react when it is your turn in the barrel and the failure occurs. You actually do have many options, but there is only one course that will take you back out from the path to failure and ruin and put you back on the road to success.
