Difference Between Being Passive and Pacifist

In this section, you will learn the intrinsic difference between being passive and being a pacifist. Which one is better than the other? How can you integrate one attribute into your character to attain success?

Successful people are not passive people not because there is anything wrong with being passive, but because passive people are not successful. Lest there be any confusion, we will differentiate between passive and pacifist. A pacifist is someone who takes a direct (non) action as a form or accomplishing something. That is still an action by its very definition and they do take action.

A passive person will stand idly by as they watch the world continue spinning and rarely if ever at all, commence with any direct action of their own. Remember basic science classes; for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. That being the case, if there is no action at all, how can there be any reaction?

Anyone who is either unwilling or unable to take full and complete responsibility for their welfare, their health and their actions (or lack thereof) can usually only successfully accomplish one thing. They can successfully write off any chance of ever being truly successful.

Actions really do speak louder than words. Ask any Mime that you happen to see and you will see that words are not even necessary all of the time in order to perform an action. Sitting by and talking about something rarely results in any more successes than complete inaction. The bottom line is that it will take work, effort, concentration and probably more variables than you ever saw in the most advanced mathematics course you ever studied if you truly want to be successful.
