Back on Track
After going from one roadblock to another, what is in store for you now? In this section entitled "Back on track", you will know the circle of life in terms of success and how thoughts, ideans, dreams, goals and realities are all woven together.
Okay, you made it through all of the difficulties in relatively good shape. The majority of your goals are still in place and you have a viable means to get what you want. Your plans are still intact even if they have been altered to fit the situation you face at the moment. So now that everything is back where it is supposed to be, what to do next?
Seeing Patterns and Shapes
The pattern of the road to success should be starting to look familiar to most people by now. However, not everyone learns as well from analogies as others, so we will make it pretty cut and dried here. While this is not a comprehensive summary of every situation that you will face, it will cover the basics.
Thoughts become ideas; ideas become dreams; dreams become goals and goals should become realities. Should is mentioned because not everyone will even attempt to make all of their goals realities. Of the many people who do, many of them will fail. That, once again, is the sad truth of the matter even when it comes to success.
Think about what you want out of life. Life is by far the greatest gift that anyone of us has ever known. Without it we would not even be considering dreams, much less successes. If you think about fancy cars and beautiful mansions than remember that the only person who will ever prevent you from obtaining those things is you.
Many of those thoughts will become dreams without any real conscious effort or even awareness. We may dream of being the owner of a fancy car we see parked somewhere or driving down the road. Financial success is a dream that many people have. In fact, not very many people at all are truly satisfied with their current financial situation and wish to have more.
You dreams may be about boats, they may be about physical possessions, they could be about having children or any other great number of things far too numerous to mention here. The simple fact of the matter is that everybody has dreams. What separates the successful people from the masses is not only the desire, but the ability to work towards making those dreams a reality.
How is it possible to take something which seems at the first glance to be a simple flight of fancy allowing our minds to drift back into our childhood imaginations and make that into something tangible and real that we can each possess individually? Unfortunately it is not something which is at all possible for the vast majority of people.
This is not because they are not willing to work for it. It certainly is not always true that these people are even suggested to be incompetent. There is a greater underlying cause that differentiates successful people from the masses. This can perhaps best be summed up by their ability to take everything from its natural beginning into the next level and always being prepared to make adjustments along the way as they become necessary.
Only by turning these passing dreams into goals can there be any real hope of every making them become realities. The people in this world who are truly successful will always have new goals for themselves. They make expectations from themselves and then work to meet and even exceed their own expectations.
They are not concerned with what other people think about their dreams or their desires; at least insofar as the other parties are not directly involved or affected. They are not concerned that it may be difficult or easy to obtain each individual goal. They make a plan to get where they want to be. They adjust it according to how it needs to be in order to meet the expectations and goals that they have stated and they do it.
