Text objects
There are custom text objects that you can use to give your text special effects.
To Wrap text in a shape or text box
1. Select the Auto shape or text box that contains the text you want to wrap.
2. Double-click the selection rectangle of the AutoShape or text box, and then click the Text Box tab.
3. Select the Word Wrap text in AutoShape check box.
Note: In a text box, the text wraps as you soon as you type additional text.
To Wrap Text as you Type
1. On the Drawing toolbar, click Text box.
2. Click where you want the box to go, drag it to the size you want
3. Type your text.
To Change the Text in WordArt
- Double-click the Word Art object you want to change.
- In the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, change the text
- Click OK.
Text shadows and 3-D effects
Depending on the effect you want, you can shadow or emboss text in three different ways:
1. You can add a shadow or embossed effect directly to the text. When you use this method, you can't change such shadow features as offset or color.
2. You can also add a shadow or embossed effect to an unfilled object that contains text. With this method, the text takes on the same shadow options as the object, and you can control and change shadow features.
3. another way is to insert WordArt—a drawing object that contains special text effects such as shadowing and perspective.
