Resizing an object

You can resize objects and change their resolution for web or print.

1. Optimize the resolution of an image/graphic for the Web (96 dots per inch/dpi) and print (200 dpi), discarding unnecessary loading time.

2. Discard extra information. For example, when a picture has been cropped or resized, the "hidden" parts of the picture are stored in the file.

3. Compress the picture, if possible.

Apply the same height and width to different objects

1. Select all objects Auto Shape, (Picture, word Art or Clip Art) that you want to have the same dimensions.

2. On the Format menu, click Object, AutoShape, Picture, WordArt, or Clip Art.

3. The Format menu item changes to reflect the types of objects you have selected.

4. On the Size tab, click in the Height and Width boxes to type in the dimensions desired.
