Outline view

As you have learned beforehand, the outline view is like editing the text in the word processor without bothering about the clutter of graphics and formatting of slides.

1. When using the Outline tab, buttons become available on the Standard and Formatting toolbars that let you increase or decrease text indents, collapse and expand content so that you see slide titles but no subordinate bullet points, and show or hide text formatting as you work.

2. To use a toolbar that's dedicated to working with text in an outline, display the Outlining tool.

5. To print an Outline

  1. Create or open the presentation.
  2. Click View > Normal > Outline tab.
  3. On Standard Toolbar, select Expand All.

OR

Click arrow at the end of the toolbar and click Add or Remove buttons > Outlining > Expand All.

OR

To print from MS PowerPoint

  1. Click File menu > Print Preview.
  2. In the pane that opens, click Print What > Outline View.
  3. On the Print Preview toolbar, click Print.
