Modifying Notes
For some additional notes that you have just thought of, you may type them in the current slide in the notes pane.
- In the notes pane type your notes for the current slide.
- To navigate between slides as you add your notes to the notes pane, click the slide thumbnails on the Slides tab or click the icons on the Outline tab.
Important things to remember in modifying Notes:
1. If your text exceeds the size of the placeholder notes page Microsoft PowerPoint reduces the font size and line spacing incrementally as you type, to make the text fit. Use the notes pane in normal view to type notes about your slides.
2. You can print the notes as notes page and use them either as notes to yourself while you give your presentation, or, if they're notes you intend for your audience, hand them out to accompany your slide show presentation.
3. If you save your presentation as a Web page, your notes automatically display. Slide titles become a table of contents in the presentation, and your slide notes appear beneath each slide. Your notes can fill the role of the speaker, giving your audience the background and details that a speaker would provide during a live presentation.
4. If you don't want your notes to display in the Web page, you can turn them off before you save the file as a Web page.
