Working with Palettes
Photoshop is a palette driven program. Almost everything you do will involve palettes in one way or another. Particular options are available for each palette
The palette is a movable box with a variety of options for a particular tool or for accomplishing a task. When you first open Photoshop, you will notice that all related tools are grouped in different palettes.
Photoshop is a palette-driven program. You can organize these palettes in a few different ways. Let us see these.
Docking palettes
To dock a palette:
- Click and Drag the palette's title tab.
- Drag it over the bottom of another palette group.
- A double line appears at the bottom of the palette.
- Release the mouse button and the palette will be docked as shown.
