Text Warp is similar to Word and is a fun and useful tool used to create interesting curves and waves that the text will follow.

Text Warp and typing on a path Text warp is a fun tool used to create interesting curves and waves that the text will follow. The text warp button is shown on the toolbar. To apply text warp select the text you want to warp and Click the warp text button. Click the style dropdown menu and the style that is the closet to the shape. E.g. Arc. Adjust the bend percentage to increase or reverse the effect. Move the distortion sliders to bend the text.

Typing on a path You can align the type of a path in Photoshop, i.e. the ability to make your type follow the curvature of a path.

To Type on a path create a path with the pen tool. Choose the type tool with its attributes. As you move your cursor over the path the I beam changes with a curve through it indicating the presence of a path. Type on the path.
