Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts are handy when you are working in Photoshop. You don't have to wait for the screen to redraw before pressing the next shortcut key.
Application Menus are the menus at the top of workspace window.
Palette Menus are the menus in the palettes.
Tools are shortcuts for the tools.
Preset Manager and Preferences - Many Photoshop tools have libraries attached to them. You will need to load them before Photoshop is ready for use. To minimize load time, keep your libraries at the minimum. These libraries are managed by the Preset Manager. To access the Preset Manager go to the Edit Menu. Preferences allow you to choose how Photoshop will operate. To start the Preferences dialog box, Select Edit > Preferences.
