Shape Tools
You can draw basic shapes quickly by using the shape tools, which are accessed from the tool palette. You can switch among different shapes from the options bar.
Tina wants to try and create some shapes to incorporate in the greeting card.
These are used to draw basic shapes quickly by using the shape tools, which are accessed from the tool palette. There are five basic shape tools.
- Rectangle - Produces rectangles and squares
- Rounded Rectangle - Creates rectangle with rounded corners.
- Oval - Creates ovals and circles.
- Polygon - Draws different polygon shapes.
- Line - Draws straight lines.
To use the Shape tools:
- Select the foreground color and one of the shape tools.
- Choose the pixels option from the options bar.
- Click and drag inside your image.
- Release the mouse and the shape is drawn.
