Selection Options
A new selection will replace the existing selection. However you can make more than one selection at a time using various options.
You can make more than one selection at a time. You can see the various selection options, which are available from the options bar whenever you choose a selection tool. o New selection. The default setting, replaces the existing selection.
Add to selection. Add the new area to the previous selection.
Substract from selection. The new selection is cut from the existing selection.
Intersect with selection. The existing selection will be replaced by the overlapping area of the new selection.
