Repairing Images
Photoshop is used to repair damaged photos. It can fix images form tears to scratches and to crease and stains. These tools are easy to use and matchless in any other application.
The healing brush and the patch tool can fix anything from tears and scratches to creases and stains.
Healing Brush
The healing brush samples the image where you are painting and compares it to another portion of the image that you choose and stimulates the texture and blends the brush stroke into the image seamlessly. To use select the healing brush from the tool palette. Choose a brush size appropriate for the image.
Hold down the option key and click in an undamaged portion of the image, close to where you want to make repairs. The sample has been taken.
You can click and drag the mouse to paint over the damaged portion of the image. When you release the mouse button you will see the brush stroke "morph" into the image, effectively brushing away the damage. Continue repairing the image in the same manner.

Patch tool works like the healing brush but on larger scale.
Clone stamp allows you to sample a part of the image and then paint with the actual sampled pixels on another portion of the image. This is good for removing objects from pictures or duplicating objects.
