Guides - Important Tips
Some of the important tips to be kept in mind while using guides.
- To add horizontal guides drag down from the top ruler.
- To add a vertical guide drag right from the left ruler.
- To reposition a guide, click it with the move tool and drag it to another position.
- To remove guides drag it off the workspace.
- To hide and show guides select View > Show guides.
- To lock the guides so that they cannot be moved select View > Lock Guides.
- To delete all guides, select View > Clear Guides.
- Snap to Guides is a handy tool for achieving perfect alignment. To do this, select View > Snap to > Guides.
