File Browser

File browser is useful for organising and renaming images. It is almost a program in itself with a host of features.

The Photoshop file browser is a very powerful and useful program. It is even useful for organising and renaming images.

To launch the file browser choose File > Browse. The file browser has four main windows

  • Navigation Window - To navigate all disk drives
  • Preview - Shows the currently selected file.
  • Image information - Shows info about the selected image.
  • Image Thumbnails - View the images and their filenames in the current directory.

To organise thumbnails simply click and drag the thumbnails.

To rotate a thumbnail, Click the thumbnail. Click either rotate clockwise or counter clockwise. The thumbnail will rotate.
