Dodge, Burn and Sponge Tools
These tools alter the tonality and color saturation of the pixels to which they are applied and are favourites for touching up photographs.

Dodge Tool Effect - The more you paint over an area with the Dodge the lighter it becomes.
Burn Tool effect - The more you paint over an area with the Burn tool, the darker it becomes.
Sponge Tool Effect - The Sponge tool slightly changes the color saturation of an area you paint.
