Working with Photos

With Photoshop you can get the best out of every photograph, manipulate Photos and create works of art. You may not get the desired shot you want with a camera but you can create amendments and the desired effect using Photoshop.

Tonal Adjustments
A color image consists of a grayscale tone (definition and detail) and the information that makes the image appear in color. Tone is the grayscale information in the image. If a photo is very dark or bright, the problem is with the tonal area of the image. Photoshop helps you resolve this without too much difficulty using the tonal correction tools.
Tools and Tonal Correction
To change the tone of the images there are a total of four tools that are used in Photoshop. Some of them being very simple to use, while some are complex.
Color Correction
Light affects images, and different lights have different effects. Natural sunlight is the most accurate light on a slightly overcast day. Whenever you shoot under artificial light a phenomenon called color shift occurs. Photoshop has several tools and methods to correct this color shift.
Sharpening and Cropping
Sharpening helps enhance the blurry images. Cropping helps you to trim the images of the unwanted portions.
Repairing Images
Photoshop is used to repair damaged photos. It can fix images form tears to scratches and to crease and stains. These tools are easy to use and matchless in any other application.
