If you are going to be selling items such as books, videos and CD's, amazon.com or halfprice.com may be a great choice for you. The benefits to having your store on amazon or half.com is that you don't need to input the descriptions, information or pictures. You find the item in their store, and add it to your store, which automatically populates the information, you just need to choose the condition of the item (new or used) and the price you would like to charge. If an item is not listed on their site, you have an option to list the item. They also have store options that allow you to list items they don't sell there, and you can do a combination of both. This is a great option if you are selling items at less than retail, however, if you will be selling items at retail, it may be harder to compete with amazon as they have the same item at the same time. Half.com is owned by eBay and is the same premise as Amazon.com, in that you can use the information on their site about the products.
