Filter and Sorting a view
Knowing how to filter and sort your information will make managing it in Outlook so much easier and faster.
You can limit and select the information matching particular criteria using filters. When you filter items, you selectively choose what items will appear in a view. When you sort items, you rearrange the current items in either an ascending or descending order.
Filtering: A view filter is an easy way to see only those items or files stored in Microsoft Outlook folders that meet conditions you specify. The Filter dialog box offers several ways to select and organize your criteria.
Sorting: When you sort items, you rearrange the current items in a view. To sort a view on any field right click the column heading for that field. Choose Sort ascending or Sort descending.
