Typing / Entering Text
Here we cover the basics of typing in Word.
Nick is ready to write an article on river rafting in the new document entitled article.doc. He has researched the topic well and is armed with loads of information. Since the document article.doc is already saved, all he has to do is open it and start typing.
Typing / Entering Text
To enter text, just start typing in the document that you have created! The text will appear where the blinking cursor is located. The cursor is the point of entry for your text.
When you type in Microsoft Word, you do not need to press a key to move to a new line as you do when typing with a typewriter. To start a new paragraph, simply press the Enter key.
Look at your Word screen. You will see the cursor blinking at the beginning of it. Type the following text. As soon as you type, text will begin to appear on your computer.
Thrills of Night Water Rafting
If you love fap-flowing waters and are looking for a shot of adrenalin, go white water rafting. Whether it is a family vacation, or a weekend getaway... whether you want your rafting trip to last a few hours or a few days… whether you leisurely float along the riverbank or blast through invigorating rapids, you will find that whitewater rafting is an exciting and fun adventure. White water rafting is a great outdoor activity that is right for people of all ages. What you need to know is that this sport requires you to paddle smart not paddle strong. That means you don’t have to be the biggest or the strongest person to go white water rafting! Yet, you will feel like a daredevil as you sail through the sharp white water rapids, and negotiate the swift, foamy water that curts against the rocky banks. And if you are not the types to enjoy the thunderous din of water crashing into crevices with a thunderous din, you will still enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery. Whatever your reason for going rafting, you need to choose your river carefully. Rivers can have extremely difficult runs, which novices may find tough to navigate, and rivers at higher altitudes can develop dangerously fast rapids, as they leave the mountains and hurtle down to the plains. So even if you are looking for excitement, fun, and a rush of adrenaline, be careful when choosing the river where you want to go white water rafting.
What to take along
A love for adventure and a passion for the great outdoors is top priority. More practical things to pack include dark glasses, light, quick-dry clothing, and suitable shoes — sneakers or heavy-duty rubber sandals may be a good idea. Also pack in a windproof jacket, a light sweater, towels, and a flashlight- and don’t forget the first aid box and the camera!
