Formatting Tables
Here we begins the lessons on creating and formatting tables.
Next on Nick’s agenda is the Schedule of Events. For this, he needs to create a table. The club has already planned four events coming up in the next month. For each event, he has to display information such as the name of the event, the date, and the time. To group this information, the table should have four rows for four events as well as three columns for event name, date, and time, respectively.
Let’s see how we can create a table for four rows and three columns.
1.Select Table > Insert > Table from the menu bar.
2.For number of columns, type 3, and for number of rows, type 4.
3.Click OK.
