One of the best features of Word is that it allows you to change the way your text appears. You can change the text’s size, style, and color to make it attractive and easy to read. This process of changing the way your text appears is called formatting. It also involves aligning text and paragraphs as well as inserting tables, columns, images, etc.

Each one of us has a distinct handwriting style. Some of us print our letters small. Some have beautiful, slanting handwriting; some others write really big.

Similarly, there are many font styles or fonts in Word. They can be divided into two broad categories: serif and sans serif fonts.

Serifs are the small features at the end of strokes within letters. A typeface without serifs is called sans serif.

Times New Roman is a serif font.

Thrills of Night Water Rafting

If you love fap-flowing waters and are looking for a shot of adrenalin, go white water rafting. Whether it is a family vacation, or a weekend getaway... whether you want your rafting trip to last a few hours or a few days… whether you leisurely float along the riverbank or blast through invigorating rapids, you will find that whitewater rafting is an exciting and fun adventure. White water rafting is a great outdoor activity that is right for people of all ages. What you need to know is that this sport requires you to paddle smart not paddle strong. That means you don’t have to be the biggest or the strongest person to go white water rafting! Yet, you will feel like a daredevil as you sail through the sharp white water rapids, and negotiate the swift, foamy water that curts against the rocky banks. And if you are not the types to enjoy the thunderous din of water crashing into crevices with a thunderous din, you will still enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery. Whatever your reason for going rafting, you need to choose your river carefully. Rivers can have extremely difficult runs, which novices may find tough to navigate, and rivers at higher altitudes can develop dangerously fast rapids, as they leave the mountains and hurtle down to the plains. So even if you are looking for excitement, fun, and a rush of adrenaline, be careful when choosing the river where you want to go white water rafting.

What to take along

A love for adventure and a passion for the great outdoors is top priority. More practical things to pack include dark glasses, light, quick-dry clothing, and suitable shoes — sneakers or heavy-duty rubber sandals may be a good idea. Also pack in a windproof jacket, a light sweater, towels, and a flashlight- and don’t forget the first aid box and the camera!
