Create a Header or Footer

Headers and Footers are located at the top and the bottom of the page respectively. This area is used to display special information, distinct from the text body. For example, document titles and page numbers.

Now that he has put the text in columns, next on Nick’s task-list are the headers and footers.

  3. Type the name of your newsletter, newsletter issue, (e.g., Volume I, Issue 1), and the date.
  4. While you are at it, you can also make it bold and center-aligned.

To insert text in the footer area:

  2. To insert the page number in the footer, click Insert > Page Numbers.
