Since most of what you write has to be printed on paper, you have to setup the size of the paper, and the orientation of the page as well. Orientation refers to the direction of the page.
When you open a new document, the default orientation of the page is portrait, i.e., vertical. Let’s change the orientation of the newsletter from portrait to landscape:
1.Click File > Page Setup on the menu bar.
2.A dialogue box opens.
3.Under Orientation, click the radio button next to Landscape.
4.Click Ok.
5.You have successfully changed the orientation of the newsletter.
Activity: Design a sign in landscape orientation, outlining your rules for your bedroom at home. Center-align the header, leaving a margin of 10” all around.
