Using a Database Wizard
The Database Wizard provides the easiest way to create your database. With it, you can generate tables, forms, and reports. Microsoft Access has built-in database templates that will save you a lot of time.
To customize the database template to suit your needs,
- Click New
on the toolbar. - Click New File > Templates > On my computer.
- On the Databases tab, click an icon to choose a database template.
- Click OK.
- The File New Database dialog box opens.
- Specify a name and location for the database.
- Click Create.
- Follow the instructions on the DatabaseWizard.

STEP-7 MS Access builds the database

Note: You can't use the Database Wizard to add new tables, forms, or reports to an existing database.
Using a Template
This is the quickest way to create a database. This method works best if you can find and use a template that very closely matches your requirements.
- Click New
on the toolbar. - Click NewFile > Templates.
- Search for a specific template or click the Templates home page to browse for a suitable template.
- Click on the template you want, and clickDownload.
