Create data access page in Design view
This shortcut initializes the data access page development environment and displays a blank page.
- Add the fields and select the type of layout as Columnar.
- Save the page.
Activity 1: Create Data access page using the wizard.
- Click Pages on the Object bar in the Database window.
- Double-click the Create data access page by using the wizard shortcut.
- In the first Page Wizard window, use the Tables/Queries drop-down list to select the table or query that contains the fields you want displayed.
- Select/delete any field you want from the Available Fields list by clicking the single-right-arrow button/double-right button to move it to the Selected Fields list.
Activity 2: Edit existing web pages
- This shortcut lets you open an existing data access page not linked into your database’s Pages list.
