I have just cme across a website called authorSTREAM that allows converts PPT to MP4 or M4V files. If you just go to www.authorstream.com, upload a presentation you will get options to convert your ppt to be played on iTunes. This is done regardless of animations or even audio narrations.
The website offers this for free and with no installations. You can also upload and convert PowerPoint presentations into video files that can then be played on YouTube.
