Cell Comments
Cell comments are a good way of providing extra information about data contained in any cell. Comments are displayed only when the mouse is placed on the cell itself.
To insert comments in the worksheet,
1. Click Insert > Comment
A box will appear.
2. Type your comment.
3. After you have finished, click outside the Comment box to deselect it.
Now when you place your mouse on the cell, the comment will pop up.
