eBay Stores are created by high-volume sellers as well as those that want to have Buy It Now listings rather than auctions, and they pay for the store on a monthly basis. Here are some of the reasons and benefits of eBay stores:

• They offer Buy It
• People that pay for stores are more likely to be experienced and qualified sellers; your average Joe usually won't go through the time and expense to set up an online store
• Some of these items aren't available through eBay auctions
• You can search and browse all of a particular seller's items. This makes it great if you like the particular theme of items they are selling or if you have had good experiences with this seller, you can purchase multiple items from them.
• You can pay by credit card for all Buy It Now items

If you find a particular seller that you like or want to come back later to their store, you can add them to your "favorite sellers" list. Click on the "Add to Favorite Sellers" that is usually on the right-hand side of a listing:

Half.com offers a service similar to sites such as Amazon.com where you can purchase a used (and sometimes new) item where the price is set ahead of time. You can purchase books, CDs, video games and more here, and they are sold by individuals and small businesses allowing you to reap the benefits of lower prices than the major retailers. Here is where you can ask for something that you can't currently find on eBay. For instance, are you looking for an old Carebear stuffed animal, but don't see that specific one listed? Post what it is your looking for under Want It Now and someone will contact you if they have the item you are looking for.

eBay Express

eBay express is a place where buyers can purchase from multiple users in a single session. The sellers here are required to meet some additional requirements and only experienced sellers can have their items listed here. eBay express only contains fixed-price items, not auctions. eBay express can be found here.
