Getting an eBay Account Setup

While it may be very tempting to just dive in and start looking around, you need to set up your account before you start, so you won't have to do it in the middle of trying to bid or list something.

• Click on "My eBay"

• Scroll down and on the left-hand side, underneath "My Account" click on "Personal Information"

• Scroll down to "Financial Information"

Here you can choose the default and any extra methods you would like to use to pay for your purchases or selling fees. Paypal can be a very handy way to achieve this as you can store all your information there, and most sellers and buyers utilize paypal; opening a Paypal account is highly recommended! Click on the "Paypal account" link.
