Adding Pictures

How to add more then one pictures

  • The next step is to add a picture. The first picture is free, however each additional picture is 15¢. In the beginning and especially if you are a computer novice, you may want to add multiple pictures here, however once you get used to the listings and how they work as well as how picture hosting works, you may want to consider hosting your pictures somewhere else to avoid the fees. This is completely legal and done by most eBayer's. You can do a search on Google regarding information on photo hosting which includes tutorials on how to host your photos somewhere else and include them in your listing.
  • Click on Add Pictures. A screen will pop up that allows you to add pictures and gives you additional options.
  • Click on Browse and browse to the picture you want to include in the listing. If you have your pictures hosted somewhere else (i.e. Photobucket, Snapfish, etc) click on the Self-Hosting tab and enter the information requested
  • The next choice is for a Gallery Picture. It is suggested that you always choose this option. This will show a thumbnail picture when someone does a search. Some buyers won't even look at a listing without a gallery picture, so a gallery picture is a way to get the buyer to click on your item; it's worth the small fee. You will see in the screenshot what it looks like without a gallery picture, it will just have a camera icon, not very helpful for your potential buyer!
