Putting Everything in the Case

After placing all the delicate parts within the unit, the next thing that you need to do is place all the parts inside the case.

Until now we stayed outside of the case because of convenience and practicality. Now that the most delicate part is, it is time to put everything inside the case. The power supply is the first to go in because most of the time it will be nearly impossible to get it in or out with the fan on top of the CPU. Like the CPU and RAM you cannot put the power supply in the wrong way. The 4 screws that secures it form a pattern the case mimic. In our case it is even easier as the big fan grid goes face down.

Fasten the 4 screws, and you are done.

In the little bag full of screws, you received with the case you will find a small brass piece. They are the pieces you will need to secure the motherboard to the case.

Depending on what size your motherboard is (atx , micro atx, etc…), the case manual will tell you what hole you need to fasten the piece in (marked by letters) don’t fasten them too tightly do not use tools since the threads can be destroyed if you use to much force. Just use your hands. Before putting the motherboard in, take the back plate you received with your motherboard.

And put it in place by locking it into the back of the case. Once in place you will need to have the power supply out of the way to put the motherboard in. The holes of the motherboard and the one from the case should align. Take the appropriate screws and secure the motherboard into place.

Take your hard drive , put it into place like you did with the DVD rom and secure it.
