Adding RAM
The third step is adding the RAM, step which is quite easy because RAM's are designed to be placed in the correct way.
Next on out list is the RAM. Again the RAM is designed so you cannot put it the wrong way.
If you are using 2 memory banks the same size (dual channel kit), you will have tu put the RAM in the specific spot.most if all motherboard will have matching colors on the RAM port for dual channel use
Be sure to put the 2 banks in matching colors. If you do not your computer will still work but the memory bandwdith will not be as high as possible. For day to day application, it will not be noticeable, but you might notice it during play, converting video …etc…where memory bandwdith is important.
Open the socket
Place the RAM in the socket and press firmly on both ends until the RAM locks into place. Be sure that the socket is locked back into place. Your RAM is now installed
